We happen to think that FTC is an awesome program! With its small team size (10 member maximum) and longer build season, FTC gives team members the opportunities to really learn and enjoy the engineering process.

Our robots may be smaller than FRC bots, but what we lack in size we more than make up in sophistication!

This is the picture of the Techno Guards' robot for the Hot Shot Challenge in 2009 - 2010.

We called it Evo-Z because various parts of it went through multiple different evolutions (the chassis as few as 4, the lifter as many as 9).

We are an award winning Northern California community high school robotics team, based in Placer County, California. As part of FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) that holds competitions throughout the world, we have successfully participated since the 2008-2009 season. We are now in our third year in the program!
