Techno Guards set a new first at World Championship!

The Techno Guards are known for their innovative and well designed robots, incredible autonomous programs, and extensive community outreach. Pretty impressive - for a small 4 member team from the Sierra foothills!

 

At this year's FTC World Championship in St. Louis - they were finalists for 3 of the top awards: Innovate, Design and Inspire.... a new 'FIRST' for any FTC team - and a well deserved recognition from the FTC World community.

Techno Guards were asked to present Alice and their extensive CAD work used in designing her at the PTC booth at the World Championship! Team members are self-taught PTC Pro-E users, and explained how they used PTC to lay out and design all of the plastic used in Alice!
The PTC crew on hand were extremely impressed by their work.
