Techno Guards are STEMposium Finalist
The STEMposium semi-finalist presentations were held on March 12th, at the Microsoft research center in Mountain View. The Techno Guards were selected to be one of the 36 presenters for the semi-finals.
NOTE: We were informed today (March 14th) that we have been selected as one of the 12 finalist speakers and we will be presenting at STEMposium on April 1 at the Academy of Sciences in San Francisco
Techno Guards featured on PTC site
Last year, at Worlds in St. Louis , the Techno Guards gave a presentation on the PTC stage.
The team was one of the PTC Design Award nominees, and their extensive use of the CAD software
in both the design and build process was extensive. They really impressed the PTC representatives!

This season, retired members are judging and volunteering at numerous FTC and FLL events in the NorCal region - and beyond!
Techno Guards continue Boys & Girls Club Robotics Workshops
Even though the Techno Guards (FIRST Tech Challenge 2848) are retired, team members are continuing to promote FIRST and STEM within their community.
We are continuing to run our monthly robotics workshops at the local Boys & Girls Club - teaching students about FIRST LEGO League, basic building and programming skills - and having a blast! Read more »
